Batman in Arkham Origins is a younger, harsher, and more unrefined version of the Dark Knight—Only two years into crime‑fighting, still considered an urban myth by most of Gotham. Feared by criminals but not yet trusted by Gotham’s institutions. Rougher, more aggressive demeanor, he’s colder, more impatient, and far less restrained than the older Batman we know. 

Arkham Origins shows the turning point where Batman begins to understand that fear alone isn’t enough. He must become something more disciplined and principled.
